From the wild Danish island of Samsø
At the Sams Island Distillery, which is located on the island of Samsø in Denmark, the distillers believe in balance and naturalness. The Sams Island rum is distilled from Danish sugar beets in a natural and handmade process. The beet pulps are fermented and stored in Samsø oak for several months, giving the distillate its rich color and intense sweetness. The rum is finally bottled in small batches and numbered individually.
The Sams Island rum has a subtle sharpness, which causes a pleasant tingle on the tip of the tongue. After the sweetness, subtle vanilla notes and a touch of coconut from the oak follow.
